Illustrative vases

I create handpainted illustrated vases inspired by trips I have taken. Featured here are rounded long neck vases with a Scottish costal scene painted on with mountains, a rocky bay and a little house.

Also i have been looking at building and architecture from trips to Poland and Croatia and drawing the close up buildings and scenes onto tall straight vases with black underglaze, using it like water colour. All vases are made with birch white clay and glazed inside with a dolomite white glaze and outside with transparent.
